The triple headlights and dual red marker lights change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. The headlights on locomotive side 2 and 1 can be separately switched off digitally. If the headlights on both sides of the locomotive are switched off, the double-A light functions on both sides. Driver's cab lighting can be controlled digitally. Control panel lighting can be controlled digitally.
Other lighting functions such as special shunting symbols and warning signals can be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free warm white and red light-emitting diodes (LED) are used for the lighting.
